Andy Rampersad M.S. L.Ac.

Licensed Acupuncturist

I have always found myself attracted to health and healing. I also enjoy learning how the world works and using that knowledge to find solutions to problems. I now use this same determination in helping to improve the health of others.

I attained a B.S. in Health Science with a post-bacc in Anesthesia Technology from Stony Brook University. While attending SBU I began my experience in healthcare as a volunteer EMT. I went on to work at three major hospitals where I gained valuable experience of how health impacts all of us and an inside perspective of the inner workings of the current healthcare system.

One thing I noticed is that there was a gap in healthcare to focus on health holistically. This was the catalyst that led me to study Traditional Chinese Medicine and attain a M.S. in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Today I use this knowledge and experience I collected over the years to help improve the health and well being of others.
